The Glamourous Life. -Sylvia in Color and how the heck to take pictures of oil paintings?!
Sylvia 16"x8" original oil on stretched canvas
from the grisaille...to color!
Hmmm, I have heard this before...but photographing oil paintings is very different than acrylic. I keep getting this haze... if you have any suggestions, I would lovalovalove to hear them.
All the pieces have to be in tomorrow morning for the vernissage. And here.. you are getting a sneak peak. Exciting, huh?

Oh now, she is lovely, Elaine! I'd love to hear her story!
ReplyDeleteElaine, you and Modigliani...very cool painting. Are you using a flash? My best results started happening when I got an SLR camera (Canon Rebel XS), and started shooting under normal light without a flash. I use a tripod and plunger to eliminate any movement, and it seems to work fairly well. I just found out that there are white light adjustments that can be made in the camera to better match whatever light you may be using. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteThank you Vern. I will try it and let you know.
